Howl @ the Moon

Howl at the Moon

I close my eyes not a moment to soon

the dream kicks in when running to the room

where the demons play in the devils tomb

When our eyes met I knew I was the fool

A white witch lady with electric eyes

she caged my heart kept it locked up tight

we fell in love down by the river that night

but the only place i knew her was deep inside

A stone in my eyes made me rock and roll

The cramp in my mind made me lose control

A stale pale dream made me come to soon

my human being starts howling at the moon

The years kept going and they left me behind

our visions overgrown cold and confined

like the rose and the briar we were forever intertwined

by our imaginary love was distant and unkind

I sought you out I knew your soul was real

but the dark arts secrets kept you far and concealed

we made a hidden lotus grown out of the night

I accept our fate and wait for our souls to collide

I feel it in my fingers

and sense with brain

an open ended question

flowing like your streams

the hope of satisfaction

erodes with every dawn

your spirits sweet nectar

I'm sucking till it's gone

it's scratching and it's clawing

the penetrating the gnawing

predictably withdrawing

like every morning swift thawing

Like a thoughtful poet perturbing

this rhyming getting disturbing

this nocturnal journey's unearthing

a part of my soul that's worth conserving

A stone in my eyes made me rock and roll

The cramp in my mind made me lose control

A stale pale dream made me come to soon

my human being starts howling at the moon

Bang Bang Bang

Boom Boom Boom

The night in your heart makes me howl at the moon

I fought with the dark

and I swam in your pools

the night your heart makes me howl at the moon
