Heroine

I got the idea for this song after watching the movie the Watchmen and listening to an NPR program about the affects of women working more and making more money on American society.

Heroine

Talk to me to softly before you throw me in

to drown this old world still beating me down

I'll rush into you and you always resented my hands

push against the common purpose no shelter from your eyes

Talk talk we like to talk

shut your mouth up before

I knock it off

I was a Hero

second class

don't think to much of me

and this too shall pass

I was a hero

oh no a heroine

Don't You shoot me up

Don't you Patronize my sins

The world don't need no Heroine

This world falling no saving it from sin

waiting on savior so patiently dying

squeeze your intentions into tight clothing

my breast freed the world no thanks for this sacrifice

Walk walk we like to walk

tie your feet together

tripping over your thoughts

Crash Bam Kapow Thwack 2X

CRASH 2X

End of darkness, Tell tale days

2020 1908

You sitting with me my tales always sting

your beer in hand your tail between your legs

bitterly fighting uniting your cries

injustice to spite me always pointing out misfortune

Know your place my gender roles

take care of babes and let your yes be yes

Pain Pain we will to suffer

hold us close together

count it like a mother

I was hero

I was the hero

I was a hero

The world don't need no Heroine
